Our greatest need is for you to connect with us through prayer. Pray for the women at The Well, our programs, outreach ministry and the community of Curtis Bay.
Become a Sister Friend offering love, friendship and spiritual guidance to a mentee. Support her as she achieves goals on her personal life plan.
Join us Wednesdays anytime from 11 AM to 3 PM, or other days by appointment. Work in our Hope Chest (our clothing closet), complete office tasks or building maintenance.
Help From Home
Do you have communication, design and computer skills? We need help with developing promotional materials and data entry.
We always need lots of volunteers for special events such as Summer FunFest, Fall Crafts Boutique, Christmas Toy Store and Christmas Dinner.
Lead a session(s) for our mentee Core Life Program which instills life skills such as effective communications or basic finance. Share your skills or passion by teaching an open class on art, crafts, yoga, etc.
Provide childcare so that young mothers may attend our Core Life or open classes, mentorship sessions or Bible Study.
- Mondays 1:00PM – 2:30PM
- Wednesdays 1:00PM – 2:30PM
- Thursdays 10AM – 2 PM
Many women coming to The Well do not have transportation. Because Baltimore does not have a great public transportation system, ladies often need someone to drive them to appointments. This a great way to get to know some of the mentees!
Churches partners are crucial to the ministry of The Well. Serve as a liaison to keep your church informed and connected to The Well. Share promotional materials and recruit others for volunteer support, in-kind or financial donations.
Business partners support our efforts to educate and prepare women for the workforce. Partners may also support our benevolence funds which help women with basic needs such as dental work or financial hardships.
network with us
If your organization could benefit from our programs or if we could benefit from your organization’s services please let us hear from you. We would love to meet you. We are a trusted resource in Curtis Bay.
